Maintains the correct sealing position of hatch covers.

It is produced by combining steel and rubber with a sandwich structure.

It consists of flat layers of steel and rubber, bonded together and mounted on a steel plate.

A horizontal load causes the rubber layers to deflect sideways.

The pads have no slippage that would cause wear on the bearing surface.
